1. Dagala Trek : 10 Days
Dagala mountain range divides Thimphu and Wangdi valleys. The altitude of the plateau is around 4000 meters. It has many lakes of different sizes and in most lakes’ one can find trout fish. Alpine flowers, rhododendrons, different species of pheasants, musk deer are found in abidance.
2. Bumthang Trek : 13 Days
The lovely Bumthang valley is the religious heartland of the nation and home to some of its oldest Buddhist temples and monasteries. This three day trek passes through several villages on its meandering route through Bumthang countryside, and provides an exceptional opportunity for contact with Bhutanese rural life.
3. Druk Path Trek : 11 Days
This is a short five day trek, which leads from Paro to Thimphu or vice versa, crossing the chain of mountains that separates the two valleys. Although the route is sparsely inhabited, there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is famous for its spectacular rhododendron forests, which bloom in May.
4. Gasa Hot Spring Trek : 11 Days
This trek leads you to the hot spring at Gasa. The Bhutaneses believe that this hot spring has some medicinal values and in some cases cure people of their illnesses. In this package tour you will not only trek to the hot spring, but will also have the opportunity of visiting Punakha, Thimphu and the Paro valleys.
